Planting is the idea of planting seeds of growth through communication and connection of mentor and mentee. We build bonds through weekly phone calls, bi-weekly hang out time and monthly workshops. Because of the personal relationships we aim to build with young flowers they are able to express themselves openly and honestly. The collective thoughts of our flowers are stimulated by experiencing new things that interest them personally. 

 

Seeding is the idea of encouraging our flowers through STAME education. Science, technology, arts, mathematics and engineering. This program helps build confidence and find a love in these employment fields. Flowers are exposed to seeding through group workshops, community events and collaborations with local organizations. 

Our young flowers are each provided a personal Grow Goal sheet when they begin our Garden Program. We believe by setting grow goals, being taught to be accountable and working on personal growth our flowers are able to grow to their full potential. Grow goals are individually set by the needs of our flowers but each age group (lily, daisy, rose) has yearly growth expectations.
